Meet Morgan O’Kane.  Morgan is an intensely talented and exuberant musician from Virginia who frequently plays solo in NY.  My friend Sarah and I had the pleasure of hearing this impromptu performance at Ben Sollee’s show on Sunday night at The Bell House.  Ben had met Morgan on the street earlier that day playing his heart out somewhere in Manhattan and invited him to join him on stage that evening.  Morgan is a down-home, (is it sacrilege to say almost “boss-like?”), finger-pickin’ badass dude.

The audience went nuts for this guy - wish i had more to show than this mobile lowres video, but he still sounds awesome.

Hopefully i’ll have more to write about Morgan in the future.
